Over 3,000 Hawk computers have been purchased and installed
on campus. The current
Windows
desktop model is the
Dell
Optiplex 960.
You can order
from two different size PCs to suit your
needs. The Mini-Tower (our standard) and the
Small Form Factor. Our
current Laptop
configurations are a choice of three Lenovo
ThinkPads
and one Lenovo IdeaPad.
Please
review this website before ordering a PC as our prices,
models and options change from time to time.
To
purchase a HawkPC,
IDT
(Inter-Departmental Transfer)
the full purchase amount to ITS using account
3240-62960 Comp Srvc Repair.
Send the original
IDT listing
items you wish to purchase to
Joyce
Magro
in CC125.
Do not send IDT to Accounting. ITS will assign
an IDT number to all IDTs received, assigning your own IDT number is no
longer
necessary.
When completing an IDT, please note the following
requirements for accounting purposes:

Each Computer must be ordered on a separate IDT for
individuals, computers ordered in bulk for a lab can go
on one IDT
-
The
IDT must include the name of the recipient of the
equipment ordered, computer model being purchased or
what model PC peripherals are being ordered for.

Printers must be ordered on a separate line.
-
Computer purchases
over $1,000 must come from account 68100
(Computer tower/monitor & most Laptops)
-
Computer &
peripherals purchases under
$1,000
must come from
68110 -
68135 is no longer used.
Computers & peripherals
ordered at the same time do not need to be ordered on
two accounts - Use 68100 for both, or 68110
if
under $1,000.

All standalone software
purchases must come from 68135. PC & Software can be ordered on the same account 68110 or 68100.

and ITS will
